Weltevreden, 1920. large 8°. orig. wraps., with lettering in red. 39pp. 3 plates, extensive name-lists of professors, board-members, students, &c.., initials decorated in red, black decorated endpieces. This issue commemmorates the establishment of the Bandung Technical University, 3 July 1920, and contains various speeches, by a.o. the then Governor-General of colonial Indonesia. The establishment of this Institution for higher technical education was a unique and important event in dutch colonial history, as the only technical University of the Empire was then [and now] established at Delft, the Netherlands. Rare. (somewho dog-eared copy, some light marginal soiling of wrappers).
