Tom Thumb (real name Charles Sherwood Stratton) was an American drarf exhibited by the promoter P.T. Barnum. In 1863 he married Lavinia Warren (real name Mercy Lavinia Bump). The photograph, which dates from the time of the marriage, shows Mr. and Mrs. Thumb with the best man and bride's maid, standing facing the camera and wearing formal clothes. Very Good.
