The cover sheets are lightly bumped with some light soiling to the rear cover sheet. Approximately 50 photocopied pages, some of them folding, including black-and-white illustrations. The bottom page corners are lightly creased. Very good. This publication consists of a collection of photocopied articles on the international visual poetry festival organized in Portugal in 1987 by Fernando Aguiar, E. M. de Melo e Castro and Rui Zink. Most of the articles are from the Portuguese press, with one article from Brazil and one from Spain. Apart from the Spanish article, the text is in Portuguese.

Ltd., Wellington, [20th century]. - 30 beautiful color illustrated cigarette cards from a series of 50 cards issued by the Dominion Tobacco Co., depicting the agricultural and mining products of countries around the world with descriptive text printed on the back of each card. Each 2-5/8 inch by 1-3/8 inch card is illustrated with a bright color image on the front, under the words "Twelves" Cigarettes. The cards are all bright & in generally fine condition. Products represented include Tea, Coffee, Sugar, Cotton, Silk, Salt, Bananas, Apples, Wheat, Rubber, Rice, Pearls, Cocoa, Dates, and Coal, among others.

An original vintage 8 inch high by 10 inch wide news photograph depicting the catcher Melton missing a pitch is laid in at the front. the corners of the photo are creased and tears to the top 2 corners are repaired with tape from the verso.A history of the National League.

[Little Charley's Visit: What He Saw in Central Park]. A Superb Chromolithograph Depicting Little Charley Mounted on a Camel in New York City's Central Park.

[New York: R. Shugg & Co. Publishers, [circa 1872]. - A superb 10 inch high by 8-3/4 inch wide chromolithograph from "Little Charley's Visit: What He Saw in Central Park", depicting the young boy Charley, seated on a camel handled by a colorfully dressed Zouave in full attire and turbaned headdress. Two young girls are seen in the background rolling a hoop in front of one of Central Park's lovely stone overpasses. There are some minor tears to the left margin and stab marks to the right edge, none of which affects the image. This lovely print is handsomely mounted, with glue along the edges of the verso, into a handsome brick red mat. This print is from an exceedingly rare book. It was probably from the series "The Juvenile Classics from the Rutherford Park Press".

Publishers, [circa 1872]. - A superb 10 inch high by 8-3/4 inch wide chromolithograph from "Little Charley's Visit: What He Saw in Central Park", depicting the young boy Charley seated next to a young girl in a red carriage drawn by goats. A handsomely attired black man, in top hat and long black coat stands next to the goats near the head of the carriage, with a whip loosely held in his hands. The childrens' mother stands at the left of the image, her white gloved hand raised as if addressing the children. A small tear and stab marks along the right margin do not affect the image. This lovely print is handsomely mounted, with glue along the edges of the verso, into a handsome brick red mat. This print is from an exceedingly rare book. It was probably from the series "The Juvenile Classics from the Rutherford Park Press".

Publishers, [circa 1872]. - A superb 10 inch high by 8-3/4 inch wide chromolithograph from "Little Charley's Visit: What He Saw in Central Park", depicting the young boy Charley in the company of his mother, strolling by the large birds then housed at Central Park. An ostrich, emu and another large bird are contained in the fenced in field along which stroll the mother and child. Charley, attired in period red clothing, points out a pelican which is standing along their path. There is some minor creasing to the top left corner and stab marks along the left margin, none of which affects the image. This lovely print is handsomely mounted, with glue along the edges of the verso, into a handsome brick red mat. This print is from an exceedingly rare book. It was probably from the series "The Juvenile Classics from the Rutherford Park Press".

Descriptive text and 11 illustrations depict the various models of sewing machines offered for sale by the company. The brochure is soiled with some dampstaining and there are tears at the folds.

Bright green cloth, titled in gilt on the front cover and the spine, with elaborate pictorial decorations in gilt, red & black on the front cover. The covers are slightly rubbed and stained. 352 pages, profusely illustrated in black & white throughout. The hinges are cracked and a few signatures are pulled. The edges of the leaves are darkened. Quite good. A lovely trade or merchant's catalog with text in Polish, quite thoroughly illustrating their wares, including sewing machines, grammophones & phonographs, flatware, beds, typewriters and typing desks, clothing, clocks, and bicycles. RARE.

There is a 3 inch split along the top of the front joint. 73 pages, illustrated with depictions of the company's bits, bores, etc. with prices and specs. A pink discount sheet dated July 1, 1946, is additionally tipped-in at the back. The rear hinge is cracked and the pages are a bit darkened. Good.

The cover title reads: "Hints to the Officers of the Salvation Army, Being a Letter from a Shepherd to the General".RARE, especially with a Brooklyn imprint.

A Soldier's Dream Before a Battle. Air - Shells of the Ocean. By a Soldier of the Army of the Cumberland.

Bond & Tinsley, Printers, (1864). - A 4-1/2 inch high by 3-3/8 inch wide broadsheet printed in red & blue on cream card stock. The title, printed in red under a light blue depiction of the American eagle, is printed above 6 stanzas of lyrics beginning with the lines "It's midnight now in Tennessee, / There is no sound, but in the forest tree...." A decorative red border frames the light blue text. "Price 10 Cents" is printed at the head of the title and "Camp Smith, Tennessee, Oct. 28th, 1864" is printed at the end of the text. A four line poem printed on the verso pleads for charity, "Now all ye good Christians who home do reside, / I hope you'll take pity on the poor soldier's child, / And think of the welfare of old soldiers too, / Who fought for the rights of the Red, White and Blue." Very slightly soiled with minor creasing to the top, the broadsheet is in very good condition. Another state of this broadsheet exists which, instead of "Price 10 Cents", states at the head of the title, "Give what you please".

Houses and a body of water can be seen in the background. The tope & bottom right corners are very slightly creased and there is some minor discoloration along the right edge.Stars & Stripes credits are stamped in black on the verso: "This is a photo by THE STARS & STRIPES....Please credit the STARS AND STRIPES if picture is used".

There is a tiny tear to the top edge of the photograph.Stars & Stripes credits are stamped in black on the verso: "This is a photo by THE STARS & STRIPES....Please credit the STARS AND STRIPES if picture is used".

A Superb Chromolithographic Cut out of the New York Elevated Railroad Train on Rails over the Streets of the City of New York.

- The 7 inch high by 9 inch wide brightly colored image is cut out from an unknown original source, possibly a promotional hand-out, and mounted onto corrugated board. A few tears within the image are thus reinforced by the mount. A small piece is out from the front of the engine. The superb image depicts the elevated over a busy City street, where pedestrians stroll next to horsedrawn carriages and the horsedrawn Harlem 4th Ave R.R.C. trolley. Attractively framed under glass.

[1920]. - A BROASHEET ADVERTISING CLINCHING SCREW FASTENED BOOTS AND SHOES. The 4-1/8 inch by 7-1/4 inch broadsheet is illustrated in color on one side with a caricature depicting traditional shoemakers unsuccessfully attempting to destroy "clinching screw fastened" footwear. The lithograph was printed by Forbes Co., Boston. Text on the verso promotes the shoes and books which are offered for sale by Charles L. Floto of Meriden, Conn. The broadsheet is slightly soiled with chips and small pieces out at the corners. Good. Together with:J.W. CARTER / CHICAGO CO. MANUFACTURERS OF MEN'S & BOYS' FINE WELT SHOES. Chicago, Ill.: J.W. Carter Chicago Co., Spring Season 1920. Tall thin octavo, 9 inches high by 4-1/2 inches wide. Softcover, bound in tan wraps with a silk cord at the top corner. The covers are titled in maroon within a light green panel. There are a couple of small pieces chipped from the edges of the covers and tiny chips to their corners. A 36 page catalog illustrated throughout with the company's shoe line. The extremities of 4 or 5 pages are soiled. The 4 center pages are detached and held only by the silk cord. There are a couple of small holes to the inner corners of those 4 pages. Else, very good.

A 2 page summary of the terms and information is printed on the inner leaves and a map on the last page depicts the site of the airport. Good.

A Wonderful Engraved Study of Human Feet.

- Early 19th Century. A 15 inch high by 10-1/2 inch wide engraving (measured from the plate mark) on a 21 inch high by 13-1/2 inch wide sheet. The image depicts a detailed foot standing firmly planted above the detailed image of a foot pictured in plantarflexion. The plate number "No. 27" is engraved at the top right corner of the image. The engraving is slightly creased with some spotting to the borders and a few short tears to the edges, not affecting the engraving.

[12] leaves, including 4 leaves of figures & objects depicted in color to be cut out & pasted onto 8 leaves of B&W outlined shapes. The B&W leaves are darkened with 2 small pencil notations on 1 of them; there is a tiny chip out of the front edge of each of the last 2 leaves. Good.
