‎Nous connaissons le négatif de cette photographie et pouvons donc sans le moindre doute l'attribuer à Folon. La flèche est un élément essentiel, récurrent, voire obsessionnel dans l'oeuvre de Folon. Il en photographiait lui-même énormément et demandait à ses amis de lui donner des tirages de clichés de flèches ou autres signes urbains qu'ils pouvaient prendre. Notons enfin que Folon faisait faire la plupart du temps un unique tirage de ses photos, deux au maximum et souvent aucun. Tirage très légèrement jauni sur les bords des marges. Bon‎
