A PLEASING WORK ON TRAVEL IN CHINA JUST AS THE SECOND WORLD WAR WAS BREAKING OUT. The writer has a good way with words the reading is delightful. Chapters include the long journey to China passing through Russia traveling on the Trans-Siberian Railway travels in Inner and Outer Mongolia Jehol and then a significant section on Red China Hammer and Sickle the Holy Mountain Three Million Men at Arms and a number of other chapters.
