This is a very good or better hardcover copy without dust jacket as issued. Signed and briefly inscribed by the author, Gunter Eisenhut, on the front endpaper. Otherwise completely clean. Text in English and German. Illustrated in color + vintage black & white photographs and reproductions of ads. Franz Krausz (1905- 1998) was born and educated in Austria and moved to Palestine in 1934. He became a very prominent graphic designer in Israel after its' creation. The earliest examples of his work here are from the mid 1930's and are very modernist in feeling. 11" high X 8" wide, 111 pages. This book will be securely packed and shipped with tracking.

Halbleinenbroschur mit Halbleinenkarton, Vorderdeckel mit gelbgeprägtem Titel auf mit schwarz glänzenden Lettern bedruckten schwarzen Grund in OPappschuber mit schwarzem Pergamentbezug und gelbgeprägtem Rückentitel (minimal angestaubt)
(Hamburg), Raamin-Presse, 1999. (Neue Reihe der Raamin-Presse, Hamburg, 1. Druck) - Nummer 7 von 250 Exemplaren, im Druckvermerk von Hans Magnus Enzensberger und Roswitha Quadflieg signiert. Erste Ausgabe. Buchkunstobjekt aus der heersten zeitgenössischen Presse, eine typographisches Kostbarkeit ersten Ranges: "Handsatz aus der Grotesque bold extendet und Druck des Textes Offizin Haag-Drugulin, Leipzig. Die beiden, sich von der ersten bis zur letzten Seite wiederholenden Textausschnitte in der Vendôme halbfett". Der eigentliche Text des Dramas ist auf Transparentpapier in serifenlosen Typen mit Schwarzer Farbe gedruckt, im Hintergrund erscheint in weißer Farbe ein versetzter Text in einer Serifentype, der in den senffarbenen Vorsatzpapieren weitergeführt wird, nun in schwarzen Lettern. Die Bilder der Roswitha Quadflieg wurden von den Originalplatten von Till Verclas auf chinesisches Chang Chuen Cotton Papier gedruckt, die geschmackvoll aufeinander abgestimmten cremefarbigen gelben und tiefschwarzen Zwischenpapiere sind Bugra Bütten, die auch für den Einband benutzt wurden, geliefert durch Japico Feinpapiere, Dietzenbach. - Der Einband wurde mit Antiqua-Lettern im Siebdruckverfahren von Ute Behling bedruckt und in der Buchbinderei Christian Zwang, Hamburg, gebunden. Sauberes und wohlerhaltenes, nahezu tadelloses Exemplar.
