A copy of the lecture delivered to the Print Collectors' Club on January 20th 1925 on the origin and character of the present school of wood engraving and woodcutting. Written and delivered by Noel Rooke a British wood-engraver and artist whose ideas and teaching made a major contribution to the revival of British wood-engraving in the twentieth century. In the original quarter cloth binding with paper covered boards. Externally smart with minor bumping to the extremities and the odd mark to the boards. Minor fading to the spine.
