Black & white frontispiece and illustrations. Very thin paper. Top edges gilt. NOT ex-library. Binding cracked just before frontispiece but still strong; webbing showing. Corners and spine ends bumped and rubbed with some fraying at tips and spine ends. Spine sunned. Endpapers lightly foxed. Page edges lightly soiled. The list of the 17 volumes in the set on a leading page have faint check marks next to each. Otherwise pages clean and unmarked. 503 378 pages 881 total. No dust jacket.
