Contents include: "Donald Duck's Christmas on Bear Mountain", "Dickens Redone" (two-page illustrated commentary, "The Storybook Scrooge" (one-page commentary), "Uncle Scrooge", "Uncle Scrooge's Christmas Carol", "The Triumph of Scrooge McDuck" (10 page colour illustrated commentary), "Uncle Scrooge the Lemonade King", and selected bibliography. Unpaginated. Book measures almost 12.5" high by 9.5" wide by 5/8" thick. Clean and glossy with negligible wear. Prior owner's signature and date neatly written upon bookplate on 'This Book Belongs To ______" line. Half-inch opening to back panel of dust jacket at edge of lower left corner seems to have resulted from the paper cracking rather than from wear. Very light wear to attractive slipcase. The masks were from the town of Rancheria de los Cacchuates and used in the Procesion de los Nazarenos. This collection of masks was discovered by Dr. Norman D. Thomas. Each mask has a black and white photo with a detailed description the carvings the mask's ceremonial function and its symbolism. In very good condition with light bumping and creasing to edges and corners and light overall scuffing to covers. Binding tight. Pages clean and unmarked. NOT Ex-Library. The Bible in Spain is a stated 4th edition printed in two columns. Curiosities of Literature appears to be an entire issue of Alexandrian printed in double columns 221 pp First Series only first published in 3 volumes in London in 1791. The Rebuke of the Lord by Muhlenberg was preached after the Great Fire in New York of December 16-17 1835. It is rare in the trade; has some foxing and wear including some erasable marginal marks and underlining. Henri Peneveyre author of two sermons here was minister of the French Episcopale Protestante-Francaise du Saint-Esprit church in NYC; the second of his sermons his farewell to his congregation is inscribed "with the respects of the author" to Miss Elizabeth Winter. American Notes is a first American edition 1842 possibly later issue bound without covers or ads in two columns 92 pp. An interesting group of literary material plus a few sermons. Various hardcover
