Given the matched casings we presume the sheets were sent by the publisher to bindery at the same time and so sold as a set in 1840. Tillotson mentions having seen only one other copy of the New Edition at the London Library rebound and lacking the advertisements; Smith notes that it is "very scarce" and adds that the 1840 issue is also "quite scarce."
