VICE SQUAD - A Stunning Vintage A2 Rolled Movie Poster 1953
Finland: United Artists 1953. 1st Edition . No Binding. Fine. A fabulous-condition Finnish A2 cinema poster for the 1953 movie VICE SQUAD starring Edward G. Robinson & Paulette Godard. The movie is also known as The Girl from Room 17 and it is this less "salacious" title which is referred to in the poster. The actual Finnish title translates as "Flying Squad". The film was first screened in cinemas in Finland in 1953 with no subsequent theatrical screenings. This poster is not a modern reproduction and nor is it Video/DVD-related. Standard size 23.5" x slightly under 16" approx. It is in fantastic condition - unfolded and with no chips or tears to the edges - one or two small handling creases. At the top - in the brim of the hat - there is a puncture or split to the paper although there is not actual loss. There are no pinholes - it may be an unused poster. Really Fine condition - would be Mint if not for the puncture difficult though it may be to grade a 70 year-old piece of paper in that way. Beautifully illustrated and artist signature in the plate. A stunning example of vintage cinema art and design. For best appreciation of condition please examine the high-resolution image which accompanies this listing. <br/> <br/> United Artists unknown

Los Angeles: Columbia Pictures 1951. Vintage brilliantly color lithographed one sheet 27 x 41". Folded as issued a few hairline breaks at some intersections of folds otherwise as exceptionally nice example very good or better. Multi-award winning Director Rossen's creditable adaptation to the screen of Tom Lea's first novel. Up through a "revised final draft" of the screenplay Rossen also had sole credit for the screenplay. However final credit and sole went to John Bright. The production starred among others Anthony Quinn and Mel Ferrer. Fernández Ledesma war beteiligt an der Exposición Ibero-Americana in Sevilla im Rahmen der Weltausstellung 1929. In seiner Arbeit für das Secretaría de Educación Pública leitete er unter anderem im Auftrag 1938 in Paris die Ausstellung zum Thema „Die Kunst im politischen Leben Mexikos“. 1944 erhielt er ein Guggenheim-Stipendium.Er veröffentlichte mehrere Bücher und war Gründungsmitglied der Gruppe revolutionärer Maler „30-30“ sowie der Liga de Escritores y Artistas Revolucionarios. 010 Mexico, 1926-28 unknown

Los Angeles: Miramax 1984. Draft script for the 1986 film here under an alternate working title. Draft credited to producer Ron Rich who would go uncredited on the final film. With occasional brief manuscript corrections to the text. <br /> <br /> A supernatural comedy in which two police officers become trapped in a haunted plantation encountering ghosts vampires and zombies including the racist spirit of the former plantation owner. After the film's initial release it was re-cut by the studio and re-released in March 1987 leading director Lee Madden to remove his name from the film crediting it to Alan Smithee. <br /> <br /> White titled self wrappers with credits for screenwriter Ron Rich. Title page integral on the front wrapper. 123 leaves with last page of text numbered 111. Xerographic duplication with blue revision pages throughout dated variously between 3/4/84 and 3/9/84. Pages Near Fine wrapper Very Good plus bound with two gold brads. Miramax unknown
