In diesem Buch werden zwei unterschiedliche und doch vergleichbarte Beispiele pr�sentiert: Ovid l��t in Heroides 16 und 17 bzw. Heroides 5 Paris und Helena bzw. Die von Paris verlassene Nymphe Oenone den Mythos von Urteil des Paris und dessen Liebe zu Helena jeweils anders erz�hlen. Es handelt sich dabei nicht blo� um literarisches Spiel sondern Ovid reflektiert auf einer Metaebene allgemein �ber das Problem der Manipulierbarkeit des Mythos im speziellen des Mythos �ber Troja und Aeneas durch Vergil zum Zweck panegyrischer Aussagen. Am Ende des 11. Jh. Dichtet Baudri von Bourgueil ebenfalls ein Versepistelpaar in dem er zeigt wie Paris und Helena ihren eigenen Mythos bzw. Dessen allegorische Aussage mi�verstehen und derart ins Ungl�ck st�rzen. Dasselbe Problem der richtigen d. H.
