‎L’album a été composé avec des tirages de photographes suisses et italiens. Il débute avec des photographies grand format de Göschenen, Airolo et Lugano (2x) (Editions Schroeder & Cie Zürich / Photoglob). La ville de Milan est représentée par 2 photographies en petit format de monuments, et une d’art en grand format (Ed. Brogi). Suivent 4 prises de vue de la ville de Verona (dont 2 en grand format). Des 13 photographies de la ville de Venise, 2 sont des grands formats et 4 sont des photographies d’art (sculptures). Le voyage se poursuit à Florence (60 photographies d’Alinari, société de photographie fondée en 1852 (!) qui se spécialisa dans les reproductions d’art) avec nombreux sujets d’oeuvres d’art. Les 48 images de Rome (toujours d’Alinari) contiennent 20 grands formats dont 2 belles prises de vue de St-Pierre (Vatican) et 2 du Colisée (les autres sont des photographies d’art). Des 11 photographies de Pise, 4 sont des grands formats dont 2, naturellement, représentent la Tour penchée. Par la suite, on trouve 3 gr. for. de Gênes (port et ville), 3 de Turin (Ed. Brogi) et 1 avec une sculpture de la Villa Carlotta sur le lac de Côme. L’album est complété par une autre image de Rome et 4 cartes postales du Salon de Paris (1905-1906).
