Scarce edition. The Adventures of Telemachus a didactic novel recounting the travels of Telemachus son of Ulysses accompanied by Minerva the goddess of wisdom to fill a plot hole in Homer's Odyssey. With a collection of fables. Written by Francois Fenelon a French Catholic archbishop theologian poet and writer. Bound in half calf with marbled boards. Externally sound with rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Chipping to the boards. Joints starting but firm. Minor loss to the head of the spine and spine label. Internally generally firmly bound.
