New York: Tudor Publishing Company 1935. No Jacket; This hardcover book is square and tight. The boards show moderate shelfwear with losses to the gilt on the spine. The paper pastedown shows moderate shelfwear with tiny chips to the edges though still attractive. There is a 1/4 inch tear at the upper spine. The pages are clean having no markings or folds. The title page has been ripped out leaving only the upper corner. There is a dampstain along the top of the first 25 pages. All of the tipped in color plates are present and pristine. All of the B/W plates are pristine save a lower tear at page 400. Pages 400-404 have this lower tear. Still a wonderful copy that is attractively worn and with a nice "heft" to the hand.
