This work is nicely illustrated with text engravings and contains a surprizing number of new genera and species including some from West Africa. It is preceded by a general introduction of the marine fauna of Cura�ao and a list of over 300 fishes collected around the island with when present their names in Dutch and/or Papiamento the local language. The paper by Rathbun on stalk-eyed crustaceans also has some new species. The last paper by Richardson is merely a check list. With a preface by J. Boeke. Text is in English except for the first 34 pp. Ex library copy with small stamp cancelled on title page and little mark on cover. Otherwise a very good complete copy. unknown
