En el payaso pintarrajeado y gesticulante la melancol�a alcanza su cumbre. �Por qu� es melanc�lico el payaso De entrada porque si hay algo libre lib�rrimo y ajeno a toda imposici�n eso es la risa. Nadie r�e por mandato o decreto. En el disfraz de payaso hay un elemento de risa obligatoria por eso fracasa siempre en su intento. Y aparece ah� ese otro sentido m�s suave lateral el de fracaso estrepitoso y esencial. La delicada poes�a del fracaso. Y esa et�rea poes�a la proyectamos claro a nuestros propios desvelos y trabajos: somos aunque sin la misma cristalina estridencia como el payaso. Y aqu� aparece el circo callejero. Tiene el sabor fuerte del 'se hace lo que se puede'. Su voluntad es invencible. Es parodia de parodia y gran momento del teatro del absurdo. Ediciones Era/CONACULTA-INAH paperback
