<p>Textured burgundy boards have the authors initials blind-stamped to the front board. All the volumes have slight blemishes to front and rear boards the top and bottom of the back strip is worn and all volumes have some amount of wear and bumping to the corners. The previous owners name is written on the front free endpaper of each volume. The gold gilt titles and decorations to the spine are all readable but have some sun fading. The spines are firm with no slanting and no cracking to the end papers. Text blocks are solid with all pages firmly attached but the gold gilt on the top edge is now faded. Age tanning throughout with more darkening to the endpapers. Interior pages are in excellent condition with no creases tears or previous owner marks except as noted individually. Each volume with a frontispiece in black & white.
