Henry Kuttner and his wife Catherine Lucille Moore were very prolific fantasy and science fiction writers until Kuttner died in 1958. Although C. L. Moore continued to write for awhile after he was gone she virtually abandoned the genre. Henry was a member of the Lovecraft Circle and wrote some truly terrifying horror stuff for Weird Tales. And Catherine was voted into the Science Fiction Hall of Fame in 1998. Mimsy Were the Borogoves was filmed in 2007 as The Last Mimzy directed by Robert Shaye and starring Chris O'Neil Rhiannon Leigh Wryn Joely Richardson Timothy Hutton Kathryn Hahn Michael Clarke Duncan and many others. The Twonky was filmed in 1953 directed by Arch Obeler and starring Hans Conried Gloria Blondell Janet Warren and more.
