He expresses a sense of guilt for having the option to leave when the soldiers could not and he talks at length about censoring mostly self-imposed for the sake of keeping spirits up back home for the “War Effort.â€<br /> <br /> “The next war if we are so stupid as to let it happen will be the last of any kind.
