WPA; Works Progress Administration
Chronology 4004 B.C. of 1905 A.D.; 1902 TO 1914 catalog of images of flying and aviation
Washington DC : Work Projects Administration WPA 1940. Wraps. Very good. 2 volumes cloth backed softcovers very good light wear and discoloration stamps indicating deaccession from the Library of Congress with blindstamps from the Institute of Aeronautical Sciences and presentation bookplates from the WPA to the Aeronautical Archives. Each book is unpaginated about 50 pp. mimeo'd on rectos front sides only. These seem to have been the product of research by three people whose last names are Kirk Tully and Wright. They appear to be citations of images of aviation and flying found in publications books periodicals etc. possibly a list of images in the holdings of the Institute of Aeronautical Sciences itself. OCLC locates NO copies of this including the Library of Congress. At the time they were given the WPA was called the Work Projects Administration which is what the WPA was called from 1939 to 1943 so we're assigning a date of 1940 to these volumes.
