Therefore IRCICA has started a long term project for the publication of documents in the Prime Ministry Ottoman Archives of the Turkish Republic concerning the history of Al Quds and this book is the first outcome of the project. IRCICA has published the records on Al Quds in the M�himme Registers which include the most important Ottoman documents containing Divan Al Humayun decisions as the first step of the project to publish documents in the archive concerning Al Quds. The First Volume of the M�himme Registers include important information concerning the social economic cultural and architectural heritage of Al Quds in the 16th century.
