Prepared by Wilkins and originally published in installments in the San Francisco call and post beginning April 22 1918. Recollections of his father William A. Richardson and his mother Maria Antonia daughter of Ignacio Martinez. William Antonio. Richardson arrived in San Francisco from England as a first mate aboard the whaler Orion. He remained at Yerba Buena was baptized a Catholic and married the daughter of presidio commandante Ingacio Martinez adopting her given name Maria Antonia as his middle one. Mariano Vallejo appointed him Captain of the Port in 1835 and he built the first habitation there a tent followed by a board house and finally an adobe in 1836. His large Rancho bordered on the bay named for him. These reminiscences by his son give wonderful first person accounts of the life of the Californians and the founding of San Francisco interaction with the native population the depredations of John Fremont the Vigilance Committee business and commerce etc. Does not appear to have been formally published in book format. . no publisher (c 1999) unknown‎

Announcement of a meeting of the Manufacturers of Delaware County to be held on Nov. 20 1875 "to obtain relief from the burdensome and unequal taxation suffered" by those manufacturers. By order of Samuel Riddle president of the group. Pencil notations on the back headed "Riddle mill burned." #2-3: 26 x 21 cm. Printed notice dated Nov. 29 1875 from a committee of Manufacturers of Delaware County urging individual manufacturers to explain to their county assessor "the great depreciation in the value of machinery since the last triennial assessment." The committee are Amos Gartside James Stephens and Abram Blakeley. Includes a list of assessors of Delaware County for 1876. There are 2 copies of this one with an ink note reading: "Jno. R. Rhodes." #4: 21 x 13 cm. Printed letter dated May 6 1876 from William Ward "Acting for Committee of Delaware County Manufacturers." Ward who represented Pennsylvania in Congress from 1877 to 1883 requests the recipient to have the "enclosed memorial" signed by all employees "both male and female" to be used during the debate on the Morrison Free Trade Bill. #5: 21 x 25 cm. Printed letter dated Jan. 29 1877 from Amos Gartside and James Stephens on behalf of the Committee of Delaware County Manufacturers. To manufacturers urging them to talk to the county assessors in their districts about the burden put on Delaware County manufacturers by the "unfair and unequal valuation and taxation of machinery." Very scarce. In Very Good Condition: all are lightly creased; closed 2-cm. tear from edgeof #1; several closed tears of less than 1 cm. from edges; minor loss near upper edge of #1; slight discoloration on #5. The official line that successive Turkish regimes have frequently repeated and which has firmly established itself in both Turkish and foreign public opinion is that the Republic of Turkey is one of those rare countries in which antisemitism has never taken root, and in which Jews have thus lived for centuries within a tolerant atmosphere of peace and tranquility, but it simply isn't true. Along with antisemitism are the conspiracy theories in which the "Jew" or the "Zionist" feature as the main actors that are widely seen throughout Turkish society. In fact, this state of affairs is not only pervasive but has even become "normal" to the point of banality, so much so that it tends to draw no reaction from either the country's intellectuals or politicians.
