Quarto 255 pages light blue cloth pictorial label on top cover with red lettering tight silverfish damage to lower rear cover and heel of spine; the rear panel and at the heel of the spine of the dj is/was jammed so there are horizontal creases and some tears; in a little too late a mylar dj protector. <br/><br/>B&W illustrations by John R. Neill. Bienvenue cites this at pages 120-121 dating this printing to 1947-1948: this rear dj flap lists 36 titles running through MIMICS IN OZ which appeared in 1946 . This printing precedes the library-style binding retaining as it does the color label plate on the top cover. The gatherings are 32-pages. Reilly & Lee hardcover
