‎Rare exemplaire de l'édition originale de ce bel et important ouvrage, dans lequel Charles Normand anticipe les excavations contemporaines allemandes à Hissarlik, que Schliemann avait planifié mais ne put exécuter avant sa mort. Notre exemplaire est parfaitement complet des 29 planches (la numérotation ne distingue pas entre les planches hors texte et dans le texte). Une planche complémentaire, parue ultérieurement en 1895, n'est pas présente. Etat très satisfaisant (chemise frottée avec un accroc, manque à deux lacets, qq. frott., bon état par ailleurs).‎
