'Stanfield's Coast Scenery' was first published in 1836. This is the second edition of the work. With forty plates total comprising of views of St Michael's Mount in Cornwall and Normandy Falmouth Porstmouth Harbour Portchester Castle Ramsgate and Dieppe. Collated complete. The plates are very bright to this copy. Condition: In a full crushed morocco binding. Externally generally smart. Heavy rubbing to the joints and extremities. Spine has faded as is common with this work. Internally firmly bound. Pages are very bright. Scattered spots to the frontispiece and title page. Otherwise the occasional light spots to the plates.
