Beattie verteidigt wird ? sind zwei Einwände erhoben worden. Der eine besagt, daß eine (stillschweigende) Bewertung magischer Vorstellungen als falsch zu Unrecht das europäische Wirklichkeitsverständnis universalisiert. Dieser Einwand, vor allem von P.
