Presentation copy inscribed by Miller on the front fly: "With love to you/ yours/ Joaquin Miller/S. F. Cal./ June 2 96." BAL notes the trade edition in grey cloth and the deluxe edition in white cloth but notes only a single copy of the deluxe edition in this padded leather binding also inscribed by Miller "with love". Books merely signed by Miller turn up but books with inscriptions places and dates are quite uncommon. Small chip to crown light rubbing but a handsome copy of this fragile format.
