The boards are a little faded at edges they have a few splotches and stains along with contemporary notes including the name "Sacha Guitry" filled in at the initials S. G. . Title page has another note all the prices realized have been written in the margin. There is also a newspaper clipping in French saying that the two Goya portraits sold here sold for 22 million Francs. Most of the auction illustrations are black and white but there 4 tipped in color plates: the Van Gogh the 2 Goya portraits and the Chardin.
