Eragny roundel pressmark printed to recto of title-page; opening page with wood-engraved illustration by Lucien Pissaro. Quarter grey paper title gilt to upper cover white and beige floral-patterned paper boards title gilt to spine. Printed from 'Vale' types in black and red on unbleached wove paper with 'Vale' watermark. Corners very slightly bumped; upper joint slightly worn. Front endpapers foxed contents otherwise clean bright and fresh. A very good copy. The first book of ballads and rondeaus by Fran�ois Villon published by the Eragny Press and the companion volume to the 'Autres po�sies de Ma�stre Fran�ois Villon'. Beautifully illustrated by Lucien Pissaro the eldest son of Camille Pissaro an eminent Impressionist in his own right. London; Hacon and Ricketts [Eragny Press], 1900. hardcover‎
