A terrific late Victorian guide to health and well-being with over 400 illustrations both full-page and within the text. The books run into each other but as a rough guide Volume 1 is a general introduction and anatomy minor ailments volume 2 continues with ailments. Volume 3 is hygiene - water ventilation drugs exercises etc and volume 4 is first aid and treatment of minor ailments. Condition: These four books are in very good condition for age. There is some rubbing and bumping to the boards and some surface abrasions to the boards. The pages have light and infrequent foxing but the inner binding is sound.
