Etat très satisfaisant (manque au vélin en coupes, discrète mouill. marginale, bon état par ailleurs). "Caspar Ledeburh took a great stride forward with his book. [... ] This is a systematic and well designed book comprising abundant material. He discusses the prose accents as well as the poetical accents, not separarely but in juxtaposition. He is the first scholar to have given thought not only to the interpretation of the sequence of accents actually found in the Biblical text, but also to the theoretical aspects : the different possibilities of accentuating a sentence, any sentence, according to the final disjunctive accent applied ; the different syntactical possibilities of the order of words in a sentence, and how a sentence should be accentuated in each case [...] Exhaustive and original a study as it is, this book does not cease being what it intended to be - a textbook" (Wickes, Two treatises on the accentuation of the old Testament, p. X) Latin
