First, only, and early Turkish Edition of this extremely rare tractate on Jesuit instructions. There's a description on verso of imprint page like: "Memanat yoktur; J. B. Kosta J. T.'den 23 Kanun-u Sâni 1926'da tâb olunmustur"; means it's printed from [original title] 'J. B. Kosta J. T.' in 1926, January 23. 'J. B.' should be Jerusalem Bible. This note is written by A. Rota according to the descriptive continuing text, and it goes on as 'Hasmetlü Papa hazretleri Dersaadet vekili, 25 Mart 1927' means 'The Pope the Great, his majesty, Dersaadet (Constantinople) delegate; 1927, 25 March'. This tractate was translated from the early Jesuit Christian instructions according to the Paris bishopric during the 17th century. It's printed by Jesuit Monks' Church in Beyoglu, Ayazpasa, in Constantinople. Just one copy in Bogaziçi University Library in OCLC: 949501963. Not in Özege. Extremely rare book on Jesuit literature in Turkey.‎

‎Un volume in-16° (11, 5 x 16, 7 cm), dem!-reliure cuir vert foncé, dos à 4 nerfs, titre en lettres dorées dans un des caissons. L’ouvrage compte 302 pages.Il est consacré à la création et au développement de l’Etat créé ex-nihilo (une sorte d’état théocratique) par les Jésuites vers la moitié du 16ème siècle. Il s’agit plus précidément des méthodes que les Jésuite utilisèrent pour la colonisation des indiens Guaranis.Ces méthodes et cette colonisation furent connus en France vers le milieu du 18ème siècle (grâce en pariculier aux LETTRES EDIFIANTES ET CURIEUSES DE LA COMPAGNIE De JESUS et grâce aussi au présent ouvrage de MURATORI; on sait même que VOLTAIRE situe un des épisodes de son CANDIDE au “Royaume des Réductions”... Du reste, ces Missions jésuites ou “Réductions “ ne furent pas considérées à l’époque, comme des exemples de colonisation brutales et radicales. On a même pu parler à leur sujet d’ ”Utopies”. Mais cette sorte d’état jésuite prit fin avec l’expulsion des Jésuites par les Portugais - à qui les Espagnols avaient cédé le Paraguay-, en 1767. Il faut se rappeler l’hostilité croissante à cette époque, d’une grande partie de l’opinion contre les Jésuites (en 1773, le Pape CLEMENT XIV supprime la compagnie Jésuite partout dans dans le monde; elle réapparaitra en 1814, sous Pie VII). La traduction de cet ouvrage en français fut assurée en son temps par F.E. De Lourmel . Edition originale en français, ouvrage rare et en TRES BON ETAT‎

Estratto dal Compendio dei privilegi e grazie dell'Ordine, di concessione papale, a cura del Preposito Generale Claudio Acquaviva (1581-1715), in ordine alfabetico, contenente le voci più importanti: estratto dalla bolla "In Coena Domini"; Apostatae; Excommunicatio; Heretici; Oraculi; Scrupuli; Sede vacante... Minuscola, ma preziosa, testimonianza del periodo di maggior gloria della Compagnia: sotto il Vicario Generale Acquaviva, per trentaquattro anni e sotto otto Pontefici, l'Ordine vive il suo momento più brillante: "Le règne de la Puissance de l'Ordre", come afferma Ribadeau Dumas. Dopo lunghe trattative e controversie, nel 1606 Paolo V approva ufficialmente le "Constitutions": di questo si trova eco nell'introduzione, così come allusioni alla furiosa "bataille d'idées" che si stava svolgendo in quegli anni tra Domenicani e Gesuiti sul principio del libero arbitrio e sulla Grazia.
