Magnifico volume sulle esplorazioni di Livingstone, forse il più noto dei viaggiatori dell'ultima metà del XIX secolo, in cui può essere gustata l'atmosfera incantata che questi avventurosi (a volte anche avventurieri) incontravano nei loro lunghi viaggi in terre sconosciute ed inesplorate, riportando notizie e dati di grande interesse ed utilità per la scienza e la conoscenza. Rara terza edizione. In ottimo stato, tranne che per i difetti citati (il ritratto e la carta slegati) insignificanti mende d'uso e lievi fioriture della carta. Di indubbia scarsa reperibilità, affascinante.
