‎Drei Masken Verlag; München u. Berlin, o.J. (ca. 1925). 209 S.; 23 cm. Originalleinen.‎

‎Gutes Ex.; Gebrauchs- und Lagerspuren; Einband etwas lädiert; Buchblock gering gelockert. - Beilagen. - Orig.-Titel: Ju-Ju and Justice in Nigeria. ? (wiki) // INHALT : Einleitung ---- Vergangene Zeiten ---- Der Kamalu Ju-Ju ---- Kamalus Ende ---- Die schwarze Ziege ---- Der Spuk im Rasthaus ---- Das heilige Krokodil ---- Afor-Alum, der schwarze Mädchenhändler ---- Die Macht der Einbildung ---- Gerichtssitzungen ---- Der Schlangenzauber ---- Friedliche Durchdringung ---- Um Haaresbreite ---- Nachwort ---- Anhang.‎

‎Hamburg : Lit, 1996. VII, 472 S. Originalbroschur.‎

‎Aus der Bibliothek von Prof. Dr. Albrecht Noth (1937-1999), langjährigem Professor für Geschichte und Kultur des Vorderen Orients in Bonn und Hamburg. Mit Widmung des Autors. Einband leicht berieben. (Verlagstext) // 'Market literature' in the sense of popular, inexpensive, locally-produced booklets sold in general markets is to be found in various parts of the world. It is, however, the Nigerian form of such literature, also known as 'Onitsha market literature', that has attracted most attention since its discovery in the 1960s by European and North American scholars. For the purposes of this bibliography, Nigerian market literature has been defined as booklets written by Nigerian authors for Nigerian readers (mostly in English but also a few in some vernacular languages), which are printed and distributed by small, local, self-financing entrepreneurs. They are almost invariably stapled in ornamented card covers. The main genres within this literature are fiction, works on current events, plays, manuals of social etiquette, language primers, history, letter-writing, marriage and sexual relations generally, biography, poems, religious tracts, collections of proverbs and works on traditional customs and money-making. The British Library's collection of Nigerian market literature began with some thirty items purchased from a London bookshop in 1971. ‎Ein gutes und sauberes Exemplar. - Because of the vast and volatile nature of the subject matter, the scope limits itself to examining, by using an inventory of existing literature and information, environmental sensitivities to economic activities and pollution; to using and conserving renewable resources, including agriculture, forestry, fisheries, biodiversity and wildlife; to using and managing non-renewable resources associated with industrial activities, in particular mineral exploration and production. The scope includes also the examination of air, land, soil, surface and groundwater quality and impacts on human health; human and industrial waste management; human population dynamics, cultural issues, women and youth; and relevant legislation, monitoring and means of compliance.
