Die Medaille wurde vom Künstler (3. 6.1921 bis 8. 9.2014) gestaltet nach Abschluß der illustrierten bibliophilen Cervantes-Ausgabe (4 Bände). Sie wurde in limitierter Auflage herausgegeben (Gold, Silber, Bronze). Die Bronze-Medaille ist jene mit dem größten Format (Durchmesser: 6 statt 3 cm) und wurde in 1000 Exemplaren angefertigt. Die vorliegende Medaille hat die Nummer 36. Sie zeigt auf beiden Seiten ein Motiv aus dem Cervantes-Werk, auf der Rückseite zudem den Zusatz "Altea, Dulcinea". Sehr seltene Bronze-Gestaltung des Malers und Grafikers Eberhard Schlotter!
