Ancak siyasi olaylarin getirdigi baskilar sonucu nüfuslari yavas yavas azalan gayrimüslim cemaatlerle birlikte azinlik kulüpleri de tek tek eridi, çogu sporcular yitip gitti. Maddi olanaklar tükendi, bu kulüpler kendi yaglariyla kavrulmayi sürdürdüler. Bugün artik Türk sporunda bir Vahram Papazyan, bir Tahtaperde Aleko, bir Büyük Garbis, bir Buduri, bir Garbis Zakaryan, bir Vartan Tetikbas, bir Garo Hamamcioglu, bir Kasapoglu, bir Niko Kovi, bir Violet Kostanda, bir Rober Eryol, bir Lale Kohen, bir "Ordinaryüs" Lefter çikmiyor. Ama hiç degilse anilari koruyabiliriz. Spor, müzik ve Adalar tarihleriyle ilgili çalismalariyla da bilinen Orhan Sevki, elinizdeki kitapla iste bunu yapiyor. Kitap, Azinlik Spor Kulüpleri ve Sporcular alanina giren her madde ve her ismi eksiksiz bir sekilde kapsama iddiasini tabii ki tasimiyor, ama okuyucuyu yukarida sayilan isimler ve daha niceleriyle, unutulmaz takimlarla, güzel anekdotlarla birlikte sporun hemen her dalinda bir zaman yolculuguna çikariyor.
