A grand pa- noramic view of the victorious Japanese troops in review of the Arch with both Corean & Japanese flags flying many are horse-mounted cavalry with a few Coreans looking on as they wear the traditional horse-hair hat. A lively scene with the Japanese colors flying high. A spectacular scene. The verso text of almost a full page is titled: MUKDEN AND ITS SURROU- NDINGS. With a very nice pair of photos: A MANCHU PRINCE:HIS HIGHNESS PRINCE DCHUEN FATHER OF HIS MAJESTY THE EMPEROR OF CHINA & APPROACH TO THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL'S PALACE AT MUKDEN. The text outlines the rapid Japanese advance on Mukden & its capture on the Mikado's birthday. The Manchurians furiously protected their city with its 40ft. high & 20ft. wide walls.
