I found it quite annoying that the count who is mean and is being made fun of sings a pompous and serious aria. Erst 1975 wurden sie nach jahrelangem Rechtsstreit der Öffentlichkeit übergeben. // Cosima Francesca Gaetana Wagner (* 24. Dezember 1837 in Bellagio am Comer See, Königreich Lombardo-Venetien, Habsburgermonarchie; ? 1. April 1930 in Bayreuth; geb. Cosima de Flavigny) war eine Festivalleiterin. Sie leitete von 1883 bis 1908 über viele Jahre die Bayreuther Festspiele. ... Cosima Wagner war von Beginn an fachkompetente Weggefährtin ihres Mannes. So begleitete sie die Proben für Der Ring des Nibelungen und betätigte sich an Debatten um Details der Inszenierung. Das wurde nicht von allen Zeitgenossen gutgeheißen. In enger Zusammenarbeit mit Wagner organisierte sie die ersten Bayreuther Festspiele (1876). In seinen letzten Lebensjahren vollendete Richard Wagner den Parsifal. Zu diesem Werk gab Cosima wesentliche Impulse und war immer wieder die erste Hörerin seiner Kompositionen. ...
