The 102 acres here is Lot 26 Con. 13 Orford Township Kent County now Chatham-Kent. Andrew Russell 1804-88 became assistant commissioner of crown lands in July 1857. After Confederation when the Crown Lands Department was reorganized and divided by province Russell remained assistant commissioner for Ontario. Non mancano vedute della Nuova York dove svettano i palazzi tra le vie movimentate o sostano le imbarcazioni al porto mentre altre veleggiano in mare, splendidi scorci di Washington e di altre incantevoli città. Ma le cose più belle le regala la natura incontaminata, le montagne innevate, i pascoli immensi. Il percorso si snoda attraverso le regioni formando quell'itinerario che diverrà il viaggio americano per antonomasia, ovvero quel coast to coast pieno di affascinanti libertà. Primo ed ultimo quinterno parzialmente slegati, lievi mende d'uso, in più che buono stato. Interessante e prezioso.
