Illustrated dustwrapper again by Marc Brown with black coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. Based on Washington Irving's story this in verse is the story of a scarecrow made real and when confronted with what he is wanting to be turned back into a scarecrow. Rubbing to the back strip corners and to the book corners. Some bumping to the top book edges with light browning of the text block edges and pages. Some cracking of the front hinge. Chipping to the dustwrapper corners and back strip edges. A few small closed tears to the top dustwrapper edge with rubbing and handling marks of the panel.
