New York: Random House 1932. First Edition. One of 300 numbered copies signed by Gershwin and the illustrator Alajalov and featuring many of the composer's greatest songs including "Fascinating Rhythm" "Swanee" "Strike Up the Band" and "I Got Rhythm". Publisher’s full morocco; minor wear; a near fine copy lacking the publisher’s cardboard slipcase. Scarce in such good condition: the covers are often separating or have been reattached perhaps an unfortunate result of being propped up on the piano which was good for cocktail parties but bad for books.
