A significant although broken run of 276 issues plus 11 duplicates Volume III through Volume XVI of this foundational publication containing perhaps over 2000 photographs and hundreds of articles related to those working in or featured on Canadian television and radio broadcasting authors actors artists musicians singers conductors comics announcers and many others. Published weekly a left-folded or left-stapled magazine printed on medium-glossy paper measuring 9-1/4" by 12-1/4" 1952-1962 mostly 8 pages a handful 12 or 16 pages or 6-1/2" by 9-1/4" 1964-1966 each with 32 pages. Text is in French. Each issue contains an itemized daily list for the week of radio and television programs from Canadian Broadcasting Corporation station networks and affiliates. Given that each Volume has 52 weekly issues an exact itemization is available on request these are the issues I have: Vol. III 40 issues 1 dup; Vol. IV 50 issues; Vol. V 50 issues 1 dup; Vol. VI 50 issues plus 4 dups; Vol. VII no longer subtitled; 31 issues; Vol. VIII 5 issues; Vol. IX 7 issues; Vol. X 10 issues; Vol. XII 18 issues plus 5 dups; Vol. XIV 1 issue; Vol. XV 1 issue; Vol. XVI 13 issues. Please note that Volume Nos. III IV V and VI contain the most issues and are near-complete runs. Condition: the stapled issues beginning with Volume IX are rusted most of the previous issues were not stapled although a few that were show rust; a light mildew smell through Volume VIII a bit stronger beginning with Volume IX; most of the issues were previously but lightly folded for mailing purposes and show a small machine-printed subscription name and address to the margins; there is no sign of any water exposure and the pages are clean bright and complete. . Spine is cocked slanted slightly is clear with maybe a bit of shelf soil has a few small wrinkles caused when book was bound has a very faint vertical crease in the center of spine has a small brown dot at bottom edge of spine 1/8 inch wide. Back cover has no bent corners a bit of edge wear a bit of age darkening near the bottom next to the spine has a faint whitish mark at the top next to the spine 3/4 inch x 1/2 inch one small brown dot on the photo 1/8 inch diameter photo seems to have been printed a bit overexposed or the photo has faded somehow as parts of it are fainter than normal back cover has some normal shelf wear in the white. Page edges slightly sunned. Inside of book is tight clean clear flat no rips no holes no writing no stains. Small bit of age darkening inside covers at binding and on a few pages. Front cover is flat clean bright no bent corners minimal edge wear and a few faint creases has a vertical spine crease and if front cover is tilted two faint partial rings can be seen probably from a glass but there is no moisture damage. Spine is cocked slanted slightly is clear with a bit of shelf soil has some lumps in the glue and a few small wrinkles caused when book was bound has a very faint vertical crease on the upper part of the spine has a small chip out of the top edge of spine has a 3/4 inch tear in side edge of spine at bottom front. Back cover has no bent corners a bit of edge wear a bit of age darkening near the spine has a small 1/4 inch ink mark at the top next to the spine has a few visible creases and one on Illya's chin that looks like a tear but is only a crease has a slight impression line near upper free edge 1/2 inch long and did not break the paper back cover has some normal shelf wear in the white. Page edges slightly sunned. Inside of book is tight clean clear flat no rips no holes no writing no stains. Small bit of age darkening inside covers at binding and on a few pages. Owner’s name small in ink on title page. Book smells fine like nice paper. Volume 2 Number 1. Illustrations throughout.
