Legatura coeva in carta spruzzata (un po' sciupata). Chiaramente vergato da mano del XVIII secolo, con numerosi disegni n.t Anonimo manoscritto molto interessante poichè il compilatore estrapolò i brani che riguardavano l'Astronomia che gli interessavano dalla monumentale opera del Wolff apparsa per la prima vota nel 1710, poi in latino con il titolo ''Elementa matheseos universae'' tra il 1713 e l 1715. Si tratta di una vera e propria ''summa'' in 5 volumi del sapere scientifico settecentesco. Tratta di matematica, geometria, gnomonica, astronomia, pirotecnia, fortificazioni, architetturacivile e militare, meccanica, idrostatica, idraulica...: ''C'est la plus grande encyclopedie consacree aux sciences mathematiques et geometriques publiee au XVIII siecle'' (Sotheran, 5462). Il Wolff (1671- 1754) fu filosofo tedesco, discepolo di Leibnitz. Molto interessante la parte che riguarda un'importante scoperta: nel 1724 notò, tra i primi, una certa regolarità nella distanza dei pianeti dal sole, spianando così la strada alla scoperta della legge Titius-Bode. Interessante manoscritto vergato a Siena nel 1762. Ottimo esemplare.. .
