(ca. 9,5 x 3,5 cm). 1 Werbemittel. Original-Werbemittel in Form einer Glühbirne, beidseitig illustriert und mit Text versehen. Geringe Gebrauchsspuren, altersentsprechend gut erhalten. Das historische Werbemittel (Lesezeichen) in Form einer Glühbirne wurde farbig gestaltet und trägt oben und unten jeweils ein Band. Zum Produkt heíßt es darauf: "75% Strömbesparing". Vermutlich war das kleine Werbemittel für den Einsatz in Schweden gedacht. Geworben wird mit dem Grand Prix in Brüssel im Jahr 1910. Die Bezeichung der Firma lautet explizit: "Deutsche Gasglühlicht Aktiengesellschaft. Abt. Osram Berlin". Seltene Firmenarchivalie aus der deutschen Industriegeschichte!

Il regio Arsenale di Palermo rappresenta una di queste effige urbane, una "fabbrica di navi" sorta - aspetto assai raro e singolare - in forma di palazzo ma che non fu mai tale, in stretta simbiosi con il processo di sviluppo del contesto dell'area portuale extraurbana nata in seguito alla creazione del cinquecentesco Molo Nuovo. Non soltanto, quindi, un'officina per la costruzione e la riparazione del naviglio militare, ma anche un'architettura la cui facies, sul piano iconologico, doveva allinearsi all'immagine regale della città quadripartita, generata dalla renovatio urbis di fine Cinquecento e inizi Seicento. Il volume raccoglie conoscenze e dati fondati su fonti manoscritte che abbracciano un arco temporale che va dagli inizi del Seicento a tutto l'Ottocento, ricostruendo in maniera sistematica gli eventi costruttivi in rapporto alle dinamiche insediative extra-moenia legate alla costituzione del nuovo porto urbano, paragonando l'Arsenale palermitano ad analoghe architetture realizzate in contesti geografici di influenza politico-militare spagnola, in ambito italiano e del Mediterraneo in genere. Pescirossi e pescicani
brossura Napoli, 11 agosto 2011. Un piccolo peschereccio viene travolto da una nave mercantile durante una battuta di pesca. In un'estate torrida un giornalista alle prime armi, tra i pochi a non essere andato ancora in vacanza, viene incaricato di seguire il caso che si chiuderà con la condanna dell'unico pescatore sopravvissuto. Dietro questa tragica fatalità il giovane cronista intuisce però un nodo di reticenze e di ombre, e da allora l'attività dei colossi del mare non smette di ossessionarlo. Continua a indagare per suo conto, a mettere in relazione nomi, luoghi e testimonianze, ad allineare una lista impressionante di incidenti. La sua agenda si riempie di date. Un'altra sciagura sulla costa livornese, una retromarcia sbagliata al porto di Genova che fa crollare la torre dei piloti nel 2013, un incendio sotto il faro di capo Santa Lucia in Sudafrica, davanti alla spiaggia di un parco naturale che tutela ippopotami, coccodrilli e 115 specie diverse di uccelli acquatici, altri episodi insoliti ad Alessandria d'Egitto o lungo le coste della Calabria. Manovre errate, imbarcazioni in fiamme o in panne, spaventosi disastri ambientali con una matrice comune: tutte le navi coinvolte si chiamano Jolly. Da un incidente di pesca all'apparenza banale si dipana così una rete sommersa di traffici e interessi che ci informa sui guasti e i danni di un intero sistema economico in avaria: la circolazione mondiale delle merci, lo smaltimento abusivo dei rifiuti, l'incessante andirivieni di fusti chimici, tossici e radioattivi. "Pescirossi e pescicani" è la storia di un'inchiesta, ma anche di un personale apprendistato.

Agricoltura senza caporalato
ill., br. Il fenomeno del caporalato, insieme a quello del lavoro nero, presente soprattutto nel settore agricolo, interessa tutto il nostro paese, con punte preoccupanti nell'Italia meridionale. Esso consiste nel reclutamento illegale di lavoratori che vengono impiegati, per lo più a giornata, nei campi, per essere messi a disposizione di un'impresa. I caporali, spesso collegati con organizzazioni criminali, sono i mediatori tra le imprese e i lavoratori, italiani o stranieri in stato di bisogno. Questi ultimi si trovano dunque in una posizione debole dal punto di vista economico e sociale, e sono facilmente esposti allo sfruttamento. Il lavoro viene altamente sottopagato, tanto da essere considerato una nuova forma di schiavitù. I turni, lunghi, faticosi e fuori da qualsiasi norma di diritto, sono accompagnati da varie forme di violenza, maltrattamenti e intimidazioni. Per spezzare la catena dello sfruttamento, al fine di combattere questo fenomeno così vergognosamente diffuso, è necessario conoscerne in maniera precisa le dinamiche, analizzando i contesti all'interno dei quali questa pratica trova terreno più fertile. Il libro risponde a questa necessità attraverso un'indagine affidata a studiosi di varia provenienza, dai giuristi agli storici del lavoro, dagli economisti ai filosofi e ai letterati, fino al saggio fotografico appositamente realizzato per questo volume da Fabrizio Sacchetti. Una riflessione a più voci, dunque, su un fenomeno che interessa la società civile nella sua interezza e nei suoi fondamenti e che richiede di essere posto al centro del dibattito, all'insegna del comune impegno per la costruzione di una comunità di vita in cui i diritti di tutti siano riconosciuti. br. Il libro dà uno sguardo alla normativa esistente e in fase di sviluppo, oltre all'eventuale giurisprudenza, in relazione all'alimentazione vegetariana e vegana. Nel primo capitolo, dopo aver dato uno sguardo alla ripartizioni delle fonti nel settore dell'alimentazione, si illustrano le disposizioni a tutela dei vegetariani contenute nella legge regionale umbra 21 agosto 2001 n. 21, proseguendo con l'analisi dei vari progetti di legge esistenti nell'ordinamento italiano ma in quanto tali, non ancora in vigore. Il secondo capitolo riguarda le disposizioni concretamente applicabili su tutto il territorio dello Stato italiano, comprendendo anche disposizioni dettate nell'ambito dell'Unione Europea. Nel terzo capitolo viene data un'occhiata alle disposizioni e all'eventuale giurisprudenza esistenti nel resto del mondo.
