Krzanowski, Wojtek J & Marriott, Francis Henry Charles
Multivariate Analysis: Kendall's Library of Statistics I Part 1: Distributions Ordination and Inference
London U.K.: Edward Arnold 1994. This classic two part overview of multivariate analysis provides comprehensive coverage of all the available techniques for analyzing data in this form. Part I: Distributions Ordination and Inference concentrates on basic techniques. Topics covered range from initial inspection and graphical display of multivariate data through informed data-based methods such as principal components; canonical variates and multi-dimensional scaling to inferential procedures such as two-sample hypothesis tests and the multivariate general linear model. While full technical details are supplied the emphasis throughout is on a readable and user-friendly presentation with ample use of illustrative exercises. 280 pp. Illustrated. Prior owner's name on the front endpaper. Very minimal shelfwear. First Edition. Hard Cover. As New. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Edward Arnold Hardcover

Hollcroft." This is the original June 1927 edition -- NOT print on demand edition or modern reprint. This pamphlet contains Prof. Kubota's comments on a paper by Mikiwo Kobayashi that extended Greenhill-Dixon's theorem to the quadrilateral by using Frank Morley's method of complex numbers. Hollcroft served for 14 years as Associate Secretary of the American Mathematical Society. In 1932 in Zurich he was an Invited Speaker of the International Congress of Mathematician ICM.
