Geometria Intuitiva. Complemento: I Primi Fondamenti Della Topologia Di Pavel Sergeevic Aleksandrov

Hill, Christopher T.; Lederman, Leon M.
Oltre la particella di Dio. La fisica del XXI Secolo
br., pp. 361, cm 14,5x22,5. (Saggi. Scienze).

A Consideration of the Sermon on the Mount
Philadelphia: William S. & Alfred Martien 1858. First Edition. Hardcover. Fair. 12mo. 3 282 pages 2. Brown cloth hardcover stamped in blind on the covers. Gilt title on the spine. Spine tips chipped. Corners and covers edge worn. Moderate toning and scattered foxing to the contents. Previous owner inscription on the right front flyleaf. Commonly held in institutions this book is scarce in the trade. A few have shown up at auction in recent years.

From wikipedia:

Daniel Harvey Hill July 12 1821 – September 24 1889 commonly known as D. H. Hill was a Confederate general who commanded infantry in the eastern and western theaters of the American Civil War. Hill was known as an aggressive leader being severely strict deeply religious and having dry sarcastic humor. He was brother-in-law to Stonewall Jackson and a close friend to both James Longstreet and Joseph E. Johnston but disagreements with both Robert E. Lee and Braxton Bragg cost him favor with Confederate President Jefferson Davis. Although his military ability was well respected Hill was underused by the end of the American Civil War because of these political feuds.

Hill joined the faculty of Davidson College in 1854. In 1859 he was appointed as superintendent of the North Carolina Military Institute of Charlotte. William S. & Alfred Martien hardcover
