Armand de Gramont (Parigi, 29 settembre 1879 – 2 agosto 1962) è stato un nobile, scienziato e industriale francese. Fu conosciuto con il titolo di cortesia di duca di Guiche fino al 1925, quando succedette a suo padre come duca di Gramont. Era il figlio maggiore di Antoine Alfred Agénor de Gramont, XI duca di Gramont e Marguerite de Rothschild. Nel 1904 sposò Élaine Greffulhe, figlia del conte Greffulhe e sua moglie Élisabeth de Riquet de Caraman-Chimay (che si dice fosse un modello per la duchessa di Guermantes nel romanzo di Marcel Proust Alla ricerca del tempo perduto). Un raro filmato mostra Proust (col cappello a bombetta e cappotto grigio) al matrimonio di Gramont nel 1904. Some boards slightly damaged. Armand de Gramont (Paris, 29 September 1879 - 2 August 1962) was a French nobleman, scientist and industrialist. He was known with the courtesy title of Duke of Guiche until 1925, when he succeeded his father as Duke of Gramont. He was the eldest son of Antoine Alfred Agénor de Gramont, 11th Duke of Gramont and Marguerite de Rothschild. In 1904 he married Élaine Greffulhe, daughter of Count Greffulhe and his wife Élisabeth de Riquet de Caraman-Chimay (who was said to be a model for the Duchess of Guermantes in Marcel Proust's novel In Search of Lost Time). A rare video shows Proust (with a bowler hat and gray coat) at Gramont's wedding in 1904. Proust's wedding gift to Gramont was a revolver in a leather case with inscriptions of verses from the bride's childhood poems.
