ill., br. Come mai nei testi classici non ci sono indicazioni sul "cibo yoghico" (o "cibo per lo yoga")? Perché tutto è cibo e anche perché il come mangiare è più importante del cosa mangiare. E perché l'invito dei testi è a riflettere sul tipo di cibo, sull'atteggiamento verso il cibo, sull'effetto che desideriamo ottenere dal cibo che consumiamo. Come dev'essere il cibo perché sia adatto alla pratica dello yoga? Il cibo non è solo cibo, è anche quello che vediamo, sentiamo, leggiamo, annusiamo, respiriamo, diciamo perfino. Tutto ciò che entra in relazione con noi è cibo, e ci influenza. Ci nutriamo anche guardando il bello, leggendo cose ispiranti, ascoltando musica rilassante, celebrando. Perché mangiare ci mette ogni volta in relazione con il cosmo. Il cibo è qualcosa di divino, di meraviglioso, qualcosa da rispettare. Cibarsi è un atto sacro. E va celebrato.
