‎No Place: Black Panther Party presumed publisher 1970. Unbound. Good. Folio. Large single sheet folded to make four pages measuring 16 ½ by 11 ½ inches. Large black and white photo of Huey P. Newton on the front cover with a smaller image of him under printing on the rear page accompanied by a photo of an audience. A speech by Black Panther Party leader Huey P. Newton drawing on analysis of American history to highlight how systemic racism and exploitation was built into the founding of the United States and its Constitution touching on Civil Rights emancipation and other subjects. Newton concludes that the US needs a new constitution that incorporates the rights of all citizens regardless of race and that the constitution should reflect the racially diverse population. The Revolutionary People's Constitutional Convention was a conference organized by the Black Panther Party in 1970. Members of various organizations representing the Black Power movement the Chicano movement American Indian movement women's and gay liberation attended gathering in various workshops that created declarations to be incorporated into a new constitution. While this convention was considered a success the momentum built from it was stalled at a second failed convention in Washington DC due to disputes over venues interference from police etc. GOOD condition. Newton states that he believes Stokely Carmichael is an agent for the CIA and disavows his actions in the name of the Black Panther Party Stokely apparently leading a delegation of Black Panthers in Jordan. Huey Newton declares Carmichael to be acting on his own and for endorsing a vision of Black Power that adheres to capitalist practices that suppress Black people. While expressing allegiance with the people of Palestine Newton asserts that the Black Panther Party is not anti-Semitic and elucidates a complex position on the Palestinian and Israeli conflict.
